Just some thoughts

While most children go to school others don't. Some of them don't have enough to eat or wear and sometimes not even a place to live. And this can be seen in every Capitalist State. We see them everyday and we ignore them again and again. Why?

Because, simply, we do not care about them, or about anybody except for ourselves. Because in capitalism we are made to strive just to live a normal life. Everybody is competing with everybody else to not to be replaced, to acquire more and more wealth, to maintain and further improve the status quo. Because the amount of capital one has and the class one belongs to affects the influence of an individual on politics around him, one ceases acting rationally, morally or ethically and his actions seem to have arisen out of greed for more and more power. This makes one selfish and more and more suspicious of his colleagues and this why we see people working in the same institution, in the same room talking behind each other's backs(or siblings who have lived together for years but fighting for a piece of land.)

We are not ants, we do not work for the community, we do not care about the people who are left(more will come) behind, be it an individual, a thousand or millions of them. We don't care about the nutrition, or education or shelters for any child. Emancipation of women or crimes against them  or worker's conditions.

Democracy and rights are only illusion for the people in this system. Politics and capital have intermingled in such a way that one might get scared if one could see its deep psychological effects on people, cultures and to our relationships with other people, its effect on environment and on our minds.

Note: This was written four or five months ago and at that time I had little or no knowledge of marxist theory.
